Hi,

vMix newbie here. We're transitioning over from OBS and the performance in vMix is amazing! One thing I can't seem to figure out though is associating audio from a Dante source with our Blackmagic video capture.

We have two video/audio sources which I want to switch between and have the audio follow.

Source A has SDI video coming in through a Blackmagic Mini Recorder PCI and audio coming in through Dante DVS channels 1-2.

Source B has SDI video coming in through an AJA U-TAP SDI USB and audio coming in through Dante DVS channels 3-4.

When I add the U-TAP as a camera I can choose which audio device to use and select DVS 3-4, but when I add the BMD Mini Recorder as a camera under audio I only get embedded audio options - I can't choose DVS 1-2.

Is there a way to enable me to choose a different audio device for my Source A camera, or is there a way for a separately added audio input using DVS 1-2 to automatically follow whenever I switch to Source A camera?

Just stack it with an input multiviewer.

Create an additional Input, type audio input. Select the DVS audio channels you want.

Than go to your bmd input by clicking on the gear symbol. Go to multiviewer and just ad the dvs audio input to one of the 10 mv slots.

Now everytime you bring up the bmd input the dvs input gets also activated.
