We were in a live show and had Vmix crash, checking the windows Error Log, this is what I found.
Trying to track down the cause, as I've had it happen recently on multiple machines, all with different hardware. Only vmix seems to be effected.

Can you be more explicit about what the cause may be? I use a pretty good and quite expensive system, I should have no problems (I9, Quadro, Decklink 8k Pro). Please help me a lot, maybe you have heard something similar and identified what may be the problem for me. I have all the time to be at your disposal with any kind of help. We can chat, video call, remote, anything. Just someone to help me. Thank you very much!

Hi,
We have just checked and have not received any emails from you, perhaps the support form wasn't filled out completely? You can also see an email address at the bottom of the page you can try.
Unfortunately though, this error means memory has corrupted randomly on the system and there is no definitive cause as these errors are extremely rare. It usually points to something faulty on the system so a good idea might be to reinstall Windows.
Regards,
Martin vMix

Regards,
Martin vMix I filled in correctly with all the requirements the online form... Anyway, thank you so much for your very prompt answer Martin! It is very strange because I haven't had such problems before, they started a while ago, the system is new, it worked perfectly for 3 months, I don't know what has changed to make this problem in last weeks. I have tested the memories countless times, if you have a test for video card memories or any configuration situation for vmix that stresses the system please tell me. The only problem for my system is with vMix. Provided that the total resources consumed in vMix do not exceed 15% I use Elgato StreamDeck XL, I talk with @zachirino and use Elgato StreamDeck too, this may be the cause of the conflict!? Thank you again! PS: I am at your disposal if you want any other details

I know that some vira hide themself as mscorwks.dll. Thank you for the question Michael! Yes, I have all the updates for Windows 10 activated, licensed, virus and thread protection on, scan once a week with Bitdefender. Just yesterday I made last update for Windows with 2020-10 Cumulative Update Preview for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10 Version 1909 for x64 (KB4580980) I hope this update for .NET Framework 3.5 it improves something so it doesn't crash anymore like .NET Runtime version 2.0.50727.9151 - Fatal Execution Engine Error (00007FFC22226D4E) (80131506

We had the EXACT same error yesterday: 1. .NET Runtime version 2.0.50727.9151 - Fatal Execution Engine Error (00007FFB47556D4E) (80131506) 2. Faulting application name: vMix64.exe, version: 24.0.0.72, time stamp: 0x6163daca Faulting module name: mscorwks.dll, version: 2.0.50727.9151, time stamp: 0x5e75a06b Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x00000000001c49b2 Faulting process id: 0x%9 Faulting application start time: 0x%10 Faulting application path: %11 Faulting module path: %12 Report Id: %13 Faulting package full name: %14 Faulting package-relative application ID: %15 Restarted vMix and carried on... but this is SCARY. We need more stability from vmix/system. How do we narrow down to hardware vs software?? - S Originally Posted by: zachirino We were in a live show and had Vmix crash, checking the windows Error Log, this is what I found.
