Hello,

When I open up an existing title in GT Designer, make changes, and then save, I go to that input in vMix, right-click and choose reload, but it does not do so. I have to close the input and reopen it to see the changes made to the title. Even exiting out of vmix and/or reloading the entire preset does not update the input. Is this a bug?

vMix version?

haven't experienced such issue and reload all the time after editing, sure its not a copy stored in another location for example ?

23.0.0.65

I'm sure it's not a copy, but how would I verify this? Is there a way to see the source location of the title input?

Click the input cogwheel and select change and you will see the source location

Thanks, I can confirm this is not a copy--it's just not updating when I choose "reload." Here's the weird thing: I can add the input again into vmix as the updated title, and it allows both inputs to be in the preset. One file location shows the entire address lower-case, while the original capitalizes the directories as appropriate. Even the name of the input itself (the filename) is lower-case in the newly-added input.

What kind of changes have you made in the title?

From the helpfiles:

"Note that any Font, Text or Image changes made in vMix directly will always override any equivalent changes made in the designer. To open the Title exactly as it is in the designer, close the input and add it again."

I'm changing the text in the title. I don't see how I would make such changes in vMix directly--I'm only changing this in the GT designer.

Right click the title input and open the Title Editor.

Are you saying that I have to make changes here instead of in GT Designer, in order to see changes reflected in vmix when I "reload"? Otherwise I have to close the input and reopen the input to see changes in GT Designer?

I don't understand why you would want to change the text in GT Title Designer. The Designer is - as the name says :-) – for designing the title. Text changes can be done in vMix Title Editor much easier and faster. No need to reload, changes made in the Title Editor are reflected immediately, as long as you are in Live mode. Read the helpfiles and watch Tim's video:

Thank you for that clarification. I had created my own title from scratch in GT Designer, and didn't realize that changes in Designer itself will not update in vmix.
