Hello,

I need to setup a vMix-Call with 4 guests. The challenge is to provide each audio and video seperate into a Barco S3.
I have two PCs with a vMix 4k license.

My thinking is to setup the call in one PC playing out the audio of the first two guests on Bus A and B. Video of these guests per external 1 and 2.

Video and audio of the remaining two guests per NDI into vMix on PC 2 with the same audio and video setup.

So, what do you think? Is this the best way to manage this or am I missing something? Other solutions are welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Oliver

I would use one PC since you have the 4K version. Remember, you can use more buses, just enable them in setting. You can do one per call, then use something like a Focusrite 18i8 to route them separately.

I know. But you don't have 4 physical outputs for video. So I need the second PC.

or if you don't need fullHD of each caller you can output multiview of them and crop them as needed in barco s3.
if you've got additional outputs on your graphic card -> you can use them too...

Developing the Multiviewer approach further. Set the vMix Output to 2160p30 and connect to e3input in 4k mode.

All callers are summed together in a 4k "multiviewer" let the eventmaster do thier ting with region of interest via userkeys and the layers.

Audio is also simple, route each caller to a dedicatet bus. The bus can be assigned to soundcard output and yuor audioengineer will have fun.

Greetings Paul
