Hi,

we have a setup with a capture card (AverMedia CD910) and Vmix.

When we capture the video output of our laptop (surface laptop 3) we have a weird display in wmix, its hard to explain please excuse my bad english.

Maybe some screenshots will help :

(couldnt upload in the post directly idk why)

If someone need any informations i will provide it.

The setup goes like this :

-Surface laptop 3 connected on the HDMI-SDI converter (forced in HD).
-HDMI-SDI to the capture Card in SDI.

So thank you in advance for your support and have a nice day !

What does the SDI signal look like when connected to another device like an SDI monitor? Have you checked that the signal is OK before its connection to the capture card?

The AverMedia CD910 is not listed on the Supported Hardware, Video Capture Hardware Page

https://www.vmix.com/software/su...are.aspx#capturehardware

The CD910 is a PCIe card so how are you connecting it to a Surface laptop?

Do you clone the laptop's screen on the HDMI output? The Surface seems to have a 3:2 screen, this probably won't translate to a supported resolution on the Mini Converter.
So, you would have to use the HDMI output as a second screen, and set it to 1.920 x 1.080, and 50 frames (50 Hz). But, the capture card does not seem to support 1080p50. If it does not work, you could try a resolution of 1.280 x 720 on the HDMI output of the laptop, and use the capture card likewise.
