Hi all vMix is not on the "YouTube Live verified encoders" list? https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2907883Is this correct? Will this be fixed? I'm wondering if this is why I can no longer go live now without an extra web interface step? Just wondering ................

I can no longer go live immediately from within vMix! Apparently, you can no longer go live automatically from within vMix to a 'pre-created' upcoming stream, you have to 'Go Live' within YouTube Studio fresh every time and subsequently start streaming from within vMix. This is a major pain because you need to define the start date and time every time! What's worse is: If I'm running an active task as starting a stream in YT Studio while running vMix, I get a BSOD every time! I'm wondering if this issue is going to be addressed on vMix's end on how to circumvent this issue, or some kind of workaround. Perhaps a video tutorial? Thank you.

or maybe don't blaim vMix for Youtube messing things up.
Both YT and FB have done their best to do so lately (changes which didn't make thing any better)

Have you tried changing the "enable auto-start" settings when you create the youtube event?

I'm not blaming vMix, I'm just wondering if I'm doing something wrong, or if there's a way around the 'new' system. Previously, we would never have to open the browser and create a stream, we simply opened vMix and clicked Stream and it would default to a pre-created, (sometimes months before hand), stream automatically. Apparently it's not possible to create an ongoing/upcoming stream any longer.

Yes, but still, you can no longer stream automatically, from within vMix, to a pre-created stream... 000127 - Copy - Copy.png (32kb) downloaded 0 time(s).The label 'Created' there is key! No longer possible. The 'Created' one would advance automatically and go live whilst automatically creating a future one for next time. Would never have to open the browser!

I've assumed the problem is vMix is no longer on the "YouTube Live verified encoders" list?

The problem lies with YouTube and their 'new' Studio! I only came here hoping vMix or the community here could shed some light on how to circumvent the issue.
And the issue is: no longer being able to stream automatically from within vMix utilizing the 'perpetual' upcoming stream setting I posted about earlier, without even opening a browser!
Turns out, that 'perpetual' upcoming stream was created in Studio Classic, which is no more! (Why they keep the button for it in the bottom left corner, I'll never know!!!)
The odd thing is: the 'perpetual' upcoming stream still functions but with huge delays..., ordinarily the stream would show up on the church site embed within 8 or so seconds, now it some times takes a half hour!
Then people miss half the Service!
Now, if I go the 'New Studio' way, I'm not sure if the stream will even show up on the Church Site embed at all, or I'll have to fetch and post the newly generated URL!?!?!?
Frustrating!

I'm glad I found this thread, I've been pulling out my hair trying to "Stream Now". I guess we're waiting and seeing if this will be reintegrated. Fingers crossed.

UPDATE:
Okay, we ditched the 'old way' for upcoming streams and went the 'new way' re-using default settings, enabling Auto Start and Auto End, etc...,
all is good; stream shows up on embed site with approx. 8 - 10 second delay.
Don't need to open a browser at all!
Thanks for everyone's input!

Hi, Just to confirm, YouTube has discontinued the Stream Now service now requiring users to create events for each stream. This is not related to the verified encoders list as it applies to all encoders. The new process is described below: https://www.vmix.com/kno...youtube-studio-interfaceRegards, Martin vMix

All is still working well.
I do, however, have a couple questions...
- I usually have the PowerPoint Slideshow Settings window open on a second monitor, and click on the next Tile from there as my main monitor is full, however, sometimes it takes 3 mouse clicks to give the window mouse focus and advance to the next tile, even though I'm clicking on the appropriate tile! Anyone else experiencing this?
- Also, does anyone know how many streams you can schedule ahead of time in YouTube Studio/Live Control Room and have them remain in chronological order?
