Using HDMI to USB capture card "dongle"

We are a church trying to use our presentation PC output (HDMI) and send it to our streaming PC and be able to use it as a source the same as we do with our 2 IP cameras on our network. vMix works flawlessly with the two cameras and the audio from our soundboard. I'm tech savvy, but not sure if it will work the HDMI to USB capture card in a "dongle" that I already have. I'm hoping that we can use the dongle it and not have to add an internal capture card. Also when I look for the card, where do I find it, or what will be the type of input in the vMix software? Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

Plug in your USB dongle prior to starting vMix.
Once in vMix Add Input -> Camera
Use the Drop Down for Camera:
It should show up as "USB3.0 Capture Video" if it's a knock-off generic dongle.
Some of the generic ones work, some work intermittently, and some may not work. All you can do is hook it up and test.
