It will be useful to have API methods to control stream settings like RTMP server address and stream key in addition to existing methods to start/stop streaming.

what is the time difference between setting up several keys and actually setting up stream details ?

My goal - sync RTMP server address and key with 3d party service to keep my stream live on services where you have time limit on live session or just to automate stream setup. Time difference in my personal case - 0 seconds in case of auto sync and 1h in case I need to resend stream settings (Im not sure I get your question in right way).
