I am using external outputs for other screens and i am using Mix 2 (or just another fixed input from time to time) for that, which works pretty good...but if i change a little bit on my setup it could ruin the external outputs, because they are (unlike shortcuts for example) not connected to a specific input, they are just connected to a input number

Actually it would be a big first improvement if mix inputs would show up in the settings/ouputs list....just like output.
Btw:
wouldn't it make more sense to call the output "Mix 1" ?
Since outputs are either NDI, Fullscreen or SDI/HDMI and can be any kind of output
