It would be so nice to be able to consolidate all those green-screen video overlays we have into one simple list… instead of dozens of separate inputs. Would make cycling through them far easier, too. Currently you can’t have a list video as an overlay.

What exactly is not working, Pete? I'm pretty sure that I used it this way in one project.

Thanks… Since you kindly asked :) We have a lot of green-screen mp4s that are used as overlays. Even the beginning of the show is done like this, e.g. It’s done as an overlay so that the intro can nicely zoom out (disappear) into the opening shot. Basically, there are two issues. One. If we continue to use one input per overlay, then it would be wonderful to have a cueing system in place on the LaunchPad Mini that indicates which mp4 is next in sequence to be played. Several possible ways to do this, e.g. change the colour (or set to Off) the input that has just been played. Or alternatively, change colour (or set to On) the next input to be cued up to play. Neither of these are possible currently. Two. If the above is not possible, then we could hold all the mp4 files in a List and play them / work through them using existing controls. This sounds a great solution – but unfortunately, mp4s in Lists that are Colour Keyed will not play as overlays. That’s the problem in a nutshell.

Just checked the project... the colour keyed mp4 videos do play out from a list as overlays. What exactly happens when you try to play the list as overlay? If it does not play out the one video of the list you have specified on your shortcut, maybe check this thread (with a workaround in post #13): https://forums.vmix.com/...-ListPlayOut-not-working

You're correct!
I was using a Chroma Key preset that was killing the overlay with excessive anti-aliasing.
Thank you!
