I am using Mediashout 7 to feed as an input to vMix along with a "Live" Camera input.
No NDI, all wired. Mediashout input is actually my Screen #2.
For most of my output I have the Mediashout input and the Live Camera input mixed in vMix with Mediashout on top.
I need to have "Black" set as my Chroma Key.
I was able to set that just fine. It works for the most part.
vMix still is using "Green" as a Chroma Key at times and shows people with green colors as black.
Imagine someone wearing a green shirt that now is mostly black and even green decorations on the walls looking black.
Can anyone help?

Everything is run on one computer. 4.2 GHz 8-core AMD Processor w/32Gb Ram, 2 TB Virtual Disk made from 4 - 1 TB Drives in Raid Array.
2 NVidia 750Ti Video cards, running 3 screens.
I have no processor or GPU problems. I never get above 5% usage with either. 25% usage overall; that is when I'm looking.
Thank You.

So to understand your question.

You want to place the camera feed over the Mediashout feed.
Or the Mediashout feed over the camera feed.

Thanks for responding.
I want to have the Mediashout feed over the live Camera Feed.
And I need to have the black areas in the Mediashout Feed (which is actually display #2) to be transparent.

I hope I explained that well.

Thanks.

To my understanding is mediashout more a digital signage solution that provides the posibility to run at the same time on different screen/sizes.
Have you tried to add a chroma key background in Mediashout? In blue or green? Instead of the default black?

Create an image in 1920x1080 (Or to the size that you want) with any image tool you like I like to use Paint.net. But you can even do it with vMix (if i remember correctly)
With one of the 2 colors mentioned in this link https://contextc.com/chr...-blue-in-rgb-hex-values/
And apply it as background image.
make sure you use the Chroma key option in vmix on the input not in on a multiview.

Mediasgout is known as Presentation Software.
Whatever I put into a Video - "Cue" can be displayed on whatever amount of Screens I need.
I have two display screens.

This is what people on Youtube see, which is my vMix output:

Opening-from-vMix.jpg (358kb) downloaded 0 time(s).

While the people in the Auditorium see this:

Opening-in-Auditorium.jpg (128kb) downloaded 0 time(s).

Using a color as you suggest would not work for me. The display would look strange to the people in the Auditorium.

But you did say something that may be helpful:

"make sure you use the Chroma key option in vmix on the input not in on a multiview"

I will check this tomorrow as I get ready for Sunday.

Thank You.

Let me check a few options
How many computer do you have running?
Or is all on 1 system? I ask this to reproduce your setup.

why do you not put mediashout to full screen?
And if you have a default setup put it in layer 2.

Or put Mediashout to full screen. And capture that as input in vmix. Vmix offers resize of an input. If
create a new blanc page in vmix.
Click on the setting wheel of that page.
Goto Multilview
On layer 1 dropdown put the camera
On layer 2 put the input of Mediashout.
On the right of it there are presets. Try them one at a time. Till you find the one that you need.

Tim has a video on this

It's all on one computer.

Sometimes Mediashout is full-screen.
When its not is when I want mostly the Camera Live View to come through.
I need Mediashout to have more than one size throughout my stream.
I don't have time resizing things when we are live so putting it on a layer and resizing is not an option for me.
And then maybe put on another layer for one size and another one for a different size, I don't know.
Too complicated, especially for people I'm trying to train to use this when we are sure everything is working the way we want.
I need this to be as simple as possible.

I have not tried using layers yet except the Multi-layer output for the above reasons.

I don't know who Tim is.

Where can I find him.
The video could be a help.

Prepare your show.
That means you can use a midi input (midi piano) to switch between sceens quick

I forgot to past the link

Yeah -- No.

Not what I was needing.

Saw that video before.

I have nothing with a MIDI interface.

I only have two inputs.

I'll figure it out.

Thanks for the help.
