Thanks: 3 times
In an attempt to streamline and reduce GPU usage. I've put videos into a List as recommended and reduced the number of inputs.

What I want to do is this...(I could do it with individual inputs and triggers):

I have 3 videos, all on 3 different buttons on my streamdeck

Old way

Press Button 1: Play Video (Input) 1.
On completion, transition out fade to Talent.
On transition out, overlay title A to Talent.

or

Press Button 2, Play Video (Input) 2.
On completion, transition out fade to Talent
On transition out, overlay title B to Talent

and/or

Press Button 3, Play Video (input) 3.
On completion, transition out fade to Talent
On transition out, overlay title B to talent

So....I cant see how I cant do this with the 3 videos being in one list.

I can set the shortcuts to fire the videos and I can get them on completion to fade to talent, but I cant get the relevant overlay to play after playing the relevant video.

Its no hardship to add 3 new shortcuts, but I would like to be able to streamline it

Any help or questions would be most grateful.
TIA.

Bruce

You can set multiple shortcuts to one button. In your case you could place the function to select the relevant title preset also on button 1, 2, 3, ...

The problem you've got is that previously you had 3 different inputs which means you can have different triggers on each one. Now that you've got three videos all in one input the triggers will be the same for all the videos inside that input.

If you know the length of the videos then the best way would be to write a script in vMix then trigger that from the streamdeck, or make a multi action button in the streamdeck. We've been using the web api with the background box ticked on the streamdeck. That way, when you move the buttons around you don't have to relearn the shortcuts in vMix. It's working really well!
