Hi all,

Running a livestream for a couple of hours every Monday to Friday and I am battling some issues that I thought had been resolved but seem to have come back again, although not quite as bad.. but still annoying!

First of all, spec:

Windows 10 Pro, 10.0.18362

ASRock FM@a68M-HD+ Motherboard
AMD A8-7600 Radeon R7 3.1 Ghz Dualcore Processor
MSI Radeon RX570 8GB Graphics
8GB RAM DDR3
Audinate Dante Audio setup for all audio
Ethernet Connected for Network/Internet

My issue is mainly that while the livestream happens, the CPU loads jumps up to 100% very easily. When it does it causes interference on the feed (the two camera feeds start to have red/blue blocky lines appear across them randomly). The livestream is two cameras (run into USB 3.0 Capture Cards), an audio feed pulled off of Dante Virtual Soundcard and a JPEG that acts as a background/border for the video screens. Screenshot attached of the vMix setup. In the screenshot vMix CPU total is sitting at 80% approx which is unusual, as it normally jumps around 90-95%. There is an audio logger running in the background that doesn't seem to affect the CPU load whether it is on or off.

My frustration comes from having purchased a Radeon RX570 8GB graphics card under the (possible) misapprehension it would have an effect on the processing / encoding of the livestream so as to reduce CPU load and the interference that is appearing on the camera feeds in vMix. They appear as red/blue blocky lines across the screen - much like if you scramble a feed. They are definitely linked to total CPU load as when that is higher they appear more frequently. I feel like (perhaps incorrectly)_that the spec should be good enough for what I am trying to run.

Is there anything I am missing? I tried to Google it everywhere / this forum but struggled to find an answer that satisfied my problem. I've ran through all the Performance recommendations from vMix.

make sure your two USB capture interfaces are on separate USB channels.. many motherboards share bandwidth between USB ports, if they are on the same channel it might create a bottleneck.. try connecting one to a rear USB port and other into a front port on the case and have nothing else plugged in... also if you are trying to capture 2x 1080 it might be ok but 4k might just be too much for that CPU..
