A feature request for the transition type “Fade through Black”. Sometimes referred to as “Dip” or “Dip to Black”.

A common feature found in most professional vision mixers, presentation mixers and editing software.

Some systems provide an additional feature of a integrating a colour background generator, so the operator can “Fade through Colour” or white.

Historically, the first video mixer effect in the days of black & white television, and still used today to separate programmes and the commercial breaks.
