Hi,
I have been using OBS to live stream sporting events. I find it a bit buggy and have ordered a Atem mini pro.
I have narrowed my list of additional software to Wirecast and vMix.
What OBS all my video was encoded by my graphics card. This meant I had to bring my desktop to every event which was far from ideal.
I know that the Atem can handle encoding an go straight out to youtube....etc.
My question is that if I connect my Atem to vMix, will vMix then take over all video encoding for streaming output, and manage the output of the stream? If so, does vMix do all the video encoding and a subset of it? Would I still need my desktop with a 2070 graphics card? What spec laptop would I need for such a setup?
Kind Regards, Michael
