I reached out to Waves as I thought this issue may be related to Waves specifically, but believe it is more of a software related issue. The challenge is that there are multiple "wave shells" installed when plugins are installed resulting in the user needing to play a guessing game of which shell to choose to load the plugin that they are going for. I was reminded that this same behavior occurs in ProTools as well, but is managed from the software aspect of ProTools. I've attached a screenshot from vMix and a screenshot from ProTools to compare. Functionality similar to ProTools would be my preference when using plugins within the vMix environment. Waves SHell vMix.png (17kb) downloaded 0 time(s). PT Plugin Screen shot.png (226kb) downloaded 0 time(s).
