My Mac laptop just updated to Catalina 10.15.6 and now I do not see any NDI/desktop capture items available on my Windows 10 PC running vMix. The screen recording options are checked in the security settings. The Windows PC is running vMix 23.0.0.60. I deleted the Mac Desktop capture application and then downloaded the latest version again. It is 23.0.0.1. We are a church setup and use the Mac for powerpoint and need this input for our live streaming. Please help.

Thanks,
John

We are having the same problem with the same setup in our church here in North Carolina...We iMac to PC setup. Very frustrating.I have tried everything to include the same steps you've taken. Apple and vMix support are not helpful. We probably shouldve not updated to Catalina...but I like having the latest software for a variety of reasons.

Mavik, yes. We followed those procedures as instructed and we still received the same results...a blank screen.

To see if this is a vMix issue or outside, are you able to get the feed into the studio monitor app from newtek. If not, it's not a vMix issue more an issue at the sending side (MAC) I assume.

In our case I simply had to shutdown the software on both the Windows vMix computer and the Mac laptop, then opened the desktop app on the Mac first and then vMix again and then everything worked correctly.

Thanks,
John
