Hi everyone!

I apologize if this is a silly question I should know the answer to already. A big part of my workflow is being able to control PTZs from within the vMix input menu. I also use NDI studio monitor a lot but it's so handy to be able to set up vMix shortcuts for PTZs so I can cut cameras and move them at the same time. I'm looking to upgrade my cameras to the Birddog P4Ks, but before I do I wanna make sure they are controllable by vMix. The documentation says the P4K accepts "VISCA" and "VISCA over IP". There are a couple flavors of VISCA in the PTZ page of the vMix input menu ("Sony VISCA over IP", "iSmart VISCA UDP", "PTZ Opticz VISCA UDP" etc. My question is can you use "Sony VISCA over IP" for cameras that aren't Sony but are VISCA? Thank you!

The BirdDog PTZ line uses Sony Visca over IP and work well with vMix.
