Trying to kill three birds with one stone, maybe a little bit over optimistic.

We are drawing up a grant bid and I'm looking to upgrade from my single FS7 --> Intensity Pro 4K.

1. I'm trying to get some help and understanding in setting up a 3 x camera studio using Ursa Mini Pro's, is anyone using these camera’s?
2. The reason I am looking at the Ursa's is because they need to be used if film production as well as streaming.
Normally the cameras will be connected to a X299 Pro x16 PCI, either DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G or DeckLink 8K Pro
3. However, I would like to use something like the Sonnet Echo Express SEIII > thunderbolt 3 > the Dell Alienware M15 for a mobile solution.

Any comments would be very much appreciated, I’m not getting too much joy on the Facebook groups. Ah – Maybe I should have come here first.

I quite don't get what you're expecting from us here

These cams can work fine with vMix
You just need a 4 inputs capture card in both your desktop computer and your laptop using a TB3 enclosure

Maybe that is all I needed from you DWAM, confirmation of what I am planning and that it should work ok.
I realise it's a large financial investment and perhaps a lack of confidence is where my post originated from.

There are many factors which can make it work OK or not... and I understand that the financial aspects can lead to doubts.

On the paper, everything you said is supposed to work fine but devil is in the details. So make sure to double check which hardware you buy, especially the mainboard and the capture cards. This forum is full of users experience, may they be good or bad. Recommendations for hardware on vMix website is the #1 source of information.
