Hello all, I read lot of threads here about bonding solution to avoid lost of quality during webdiffusion when working in poor netword area.

I saw that often speedify is a solution with lot of people happy, and on an other way lot people say that with Speedify their bandwidth decreased.

SO my question is : is Speedify is the best solution or is there some good alternative (the goal is to manage, wifi, ethernet and share one or two cell phone to get a stable bandwidth)

Thank you for your comments

Joel

Speedify works. Not as spected but for the price its a solution. In Argentina the closest server is in sao paulo (Brasil), so final speed its poor.
There are some kits that has 2 routers to do bonding (one for each side) but there are a quite expensive.
Yesterday have bought a tplink tl-470+ that have a intelligent bandwidth administration.
But... The best i think its something like LiveU.

Speedify bonding causes dropped frames in my experience. Doesn't matter how much bandwidth you end up with. I am not sure if there is a latency issue or something else. We can broadcast through Speedify with only one internet connection perfectly. Speedify in redundant mode is what we switched to. It only works if the internet path taken supplies enough bandwidth. If Speedify fails over to a slower connection that will cause issues.

I want to share my recent experience.
Speedify in bonding mode didn't work as spected. Bandwidth didn't increased. And in some part of the test, vMix shown the "STREAM" button in red, but Youtube wasn't reciving data.
Yesterday, in a sports streaming (video here), i changed to redundant mode. Didn't work. Same issue. The streaming wasn't on air, but vMix didn't know that.

For now, i will not use anymore this tool.
Now, i will research Peplink solutions...

Regards

I had a successful Speedify bonded broadcast 2 weeks ago. Our previous issue may have been low USB bandwidth for the modems. Also T-Mobile gives us issues with bonding so we don't use them except for redundant mode.

Also tested speedify with friend and had lower upload with it than without it. Strange

Thinking on the cost of a LiveU or Teradek, and there bonding services, in comparison with Speedify suscription.. has sense that doesn't work as spected.

We have tried Speedify also. Testing shows internet speeds are slower, but the sharing connections with smooth failover encouraged me to use it. But when the internet slowed down at a live event we were showing, the slower speeds through Speedify meant we lost upstream anyway. So spending money and setting up Speedify was a total waste. Also, they go round the world looking for cheap vpn servers, and these can be overloaded or run out of bandwidth. We had two in Auckland, NZ and one stopped one day, and then couple of days later both dissappeared. After about a week Speedify responded to my queries that they had run out of bandwidth so they turned them off until the month end. Now I am using Sydney vpn's in Speedify, and noticed speeds about a quarter of my normal internet speed. Ie 50/20 without speedify and 15/9 with speedify over multiple connections.

I think the principle is outstanding, but they are letting themselves down badly by not putting a reliable vpn network in place, so good product is ruined by attempted cost savings.

Public. I didn't actually realise there were VPN servers available for purchase. You have to upgrade to team account and then buy a VPN server. How does that cost compare with LiveU ?

it's about £965 for the year with a single user, which is all i will need as were using hotspot Max on a upstream machine to feed our machines.
