Hi everyone,
I am the minister of a church in the uk. I have been streaming from my Mac all good but as we look at going back to church I need new way of streaming. I am using the trial version of Vmix to see if it will be ok. I purchased a cheap HDMI camera off eBay to get up and running.
two things.
1. the camera keeps shutting down, haven't gone live for a long period of time yet, wonder if this will not happen when streaming
2. when the camera is on in Vmix there is the FHD and length of time remaining on the screen, this is also recorded on my live feed which shows up on Facebook. Can I get rid of this? please help....
Kind regards
Andrew

There should be settings in the camera to turn of display items and deal with the shutting down described in it's manual.
On the other hand , specifying the camera make and model might help others here to give you insider trick for that camera

Some cameras can't stay on for long periods. I understand manufacturers pay for HDMI license, and this costs more if it can remain on for unlimited time. They may limit it by turning the camera off automatically. With your other queries, again, you are probably going to be limited by, as you put it, a cheap camera. vMix is a fantastic product, and I suggest buying a decent camera and then you will have the great production you are looking for.
