2.JPG (192kb) downloaded 4 time(s). 1.JPG (161kb) downloaded 4 time(s).

Please see the attachments. When I import a PSD into vMix is loses most of it's properties and is essentially not functional. Is there a best practice for designing PSD's for import into GT Designer?

I have attempted this with several different PSD's. I'm currently using the current version of CC Photoshop.

I have searched the forums and it doesn't appear anyone is really having this same issue.

Thanks!

I'm not sure, but have you tried to rasterize each and every layer in Photoshop? If that alone does not work, also discard layer groups.

Thanks for the quick reply, I just took one of the PSD's and removed everything except the layers that were visible and I'm still seeing the same thing. I forgot to mention that everything was already rasterized in the first post. Colorspace issue maybe? This was designed with untagged RGB.

Or do you have to rasterize the layer style as well?

just a htought , why not have all seperate layers ( or the image) as PNG's ?

if the second image is the actual image , design it in GT title itself

Yeah, the second image is the actual image from PS, one of about 300 different looks that the client has given me all as separate "groups" in a single PSD. My hope was to extract each of those groups and import the PSD's of each group/look into GT Title and then do the text updating in vMix.

The graphics are fairly simple so I could design them in GT but I was hoping to avoid the massive time drain of doing so.

Yes, I think so. I used the PSD import once, and it only worked with a very basic file sufficiently.
