There are 70 distinct methods in the Shortcut Function Reference that begin with "Set" and are used to write your preferred value to various properties of various objects.

There is not one Get[prop]-related method.

Scripting is far more powerful when we are able to make decisions based on values, or weigh the importance or potential impact of possible changes, or even check the volume level of a given input. That's my specific need at this moment: need to read volume fader of inputs, but getting data is important throughout the app.

Please add the ability to get values for the various object properties.
