More streaming providers (Brightcove, Wowza, etc...) are providing SRT ingestion support. vMix's SRT support is what brought my company to VMix and I am extremely grateful for the ability to use such great technology in such an affordable and flexible product.

With that being said, the current method of sending SRT by enabling a SRT Output has a few problems.

• Simultaneous Streaming to a RTMP destination (e.g Facebook) and a SRT destination (e.g. Brightcove) requires multiple clicks in different purpose menus. This is flawed UX design as it breaks a consistent pattern given the same task (to Stream).
  
• There is no visible indication when my SRT stream is failing. If I am streaming a live show over RTMP and it cuts or stutters, the stream button turns orange. If I am doing the same task over SRT, I have no obvious indication when my stream is experiencing difficulties.
  
• Not flexible or granular enough. The encoder settings currently accessed through the the 'Outputs / NDI / SRT' menu are not the same as what are available in Streaming Settings.
  
• Uses 'Outputs' intended for monitoring or non streaming purposes, thus limiting the amount of 'Outputs' available to the user.
  
• SRT is currently being treated as if it is NDI when in reality it will be RTMP's replacement.
  

Solution: Add a SRT destination to the Streaming Settings menu while also keeping its current functionality in the Outputs menu.
