Hi folks,

New user, did my first live stream and it was successful and also in 4K!

Who knows how, or where can I read/learn how to go from a camera input (myself) to the desktop (Win10) without first showing my Vmix desktop/window?

I successfully made an input for desktop, and it goes to my desktop when I cut to it.

However, every time I want to show the audience something in Chrome like a site or a YT video and I click the desktop input, first thing I see is my Vmix program rather than the regular desktop or the Chrome site I may have prepared to share. I would npt like to share the Vmix desktop for all to see if possible.

Thanks,
Peter!

add capture inputs for the windows you want to show
by definition a desktop capture shows everything on this desktop. but you can select which windows to capture

anyway such things is better from another computer, easier to manage

Once you added the entire desktop create a virtual shot and crop it until you only see what you need. You can repeat this process to show different areas of your screen.

No need to use desktop capture for web pages. Add the input as a browser. You can even click around and scroll the page if you wanted
