How can I record computer sound from a Mac in vMix via NDI

Sure, whatever the origin of the NDI signal is. If it's valid vMix will be able to ingest.

I too am having issues with getting audio to pass through with NDI. I have a PC connected to vMix through NDI and I have added its input through the NDI selector but no audio is coming through.

Have you installed NDI tools. If not please do. Then check the signal in Studio monitor. At the sending and the receiving side. If both is good in studio monitor it will be good in vmix as well.

I too am having this issue.
Have tried with the Scan Converter from NDI Tools as well as the Desktop Capture (which also uses NDI) and I get video no problem, but never audio no matter what the setting is and if I change options in the NDI Scan Converter menu, the whole app crashes.

As for the vMix Desktop Capture, I get this lovely error within seconds of opening:

If having issues with capturing sound from a Mac, you will need a third party audio driver "SoundFlower" as per the vMix Knowledge Base here:
