Crazy question here. Got some old tricasters laying around. Tricaster 860s. Would it be feasible to put vMix on these machines in order to add more capabilities to them? I hate the lack of streaming abilities and limitations. Thoughts?

The cpu and gpu in a 860 is quite old and weak compared to a modern pc, so my guess is that you will have less functionality than with the tc software. Also, I doubt the hardware inputs will work with vMix or any other third party apps.

The NewTek IO board will not work with vMix. It doesn't use any of the Windows video APIs to talk to the TriCaster, it's all directly integrated.
