Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Registered Joined: 3/20/2010(UTC) Posts: 31 Location: Amsterdam		Hi, I bought a very tough system (see: http://short.to/271mp) But my audio is out of sync. I've used different camera's. But on my standard DV 3 ccd camera (connect via Insenity Pro) and mic connect via onboard audio-card, I still have audio out of sync. The sync differs in time. In a 5 minute video the audio is sometimes in sync and sometimes 1 second out of sync. Hope you cahelp. Rgds, Daan

And where does it go out of sync, in the recording (if so what is the recording format you have setup) or somewhere else?

I goes out of sync in the recording. The recording setup is PAL 50i or 25p / Declink MJPEG compressor. Audio Device : audiop card / audio format 44100 Hz 16 Bit 1 channel Hope you can help. Also give the trial of NeoScene a go from http://www.cineform.com/ and select it as the CineForm Encoder and see if the sync is better.

There are no frames dropped Here some test footage http://www.vimeo.com/11240746 I don't understand what to do with your cineform tip. Can I use this in Vmix ?? or is this to render afterwards ? It has 3-4 frame delay but that is normal for a live video mixer. The delay can be fixed in post in a video editing program if it is too obvious. As for CineForm, it is a different codec that can be used instead of the DeckLink MJPEG codec. I will investigate if it is possible to adjust the 3-4 frame delay and will let you know the result.

The delay is currently a part of the recording process as the video data arrives slightly after the audio. The best fix at the moment is to edit the recording later in a video editing program and adjust the audio delay.

This will allow you to do a few test recordings and change the delay value until it syncs up.
