Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum but have been using vMix for a few years now. I have recently attached our Focusrite Saffire pro 40 to the computer again for some high-quality audio for the recording and streams.

I am having trouble getting the ASIO audio to be recognised in vMix. The WDM driver that is a mix of all mics is picked up by vMix (most of the time a reset is sometimes required) but the ASIO drivers, whilst they show up in the dropdown for audio inputs comes up with an error message. I have managed to connect the Saffire pro to programs like Adobe Audition & TracksLive for multi-channel recording on ASIO, so I know the ASIO drivers are at least working.

When I pick the ASIO Saffire on the audio input I get the error message; "Index was outside the bounds of the array". No matter what I do I cannot get the ASIO audio input from the Saffire pro.

The Saffire is connected via firewire and I have checked/updated (and downgraded) all drivers with the Saffire and firewire to no avail.

Does anyone know or have any knowledge why I am having this issue?

Finally, I ran the ASIO vmix tool to capture the info on the ASIO drivers and got this:

===================================
ASIO Saffire,c:\program files\focusrite\saffire mixcontrol\saffireasio32.dll
===================================
Driver is reporting the following:
Name: ASIO Saffire
Input Channels: 20
Output Channels: 20
Version: -2077188039
BufMax: 1024
BufMin: 1024
BufPref: 1024
BufGran: 0
SampleRate: 48000

Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Best
