I would like a mechanism to keep a virtual input's PTZ settings from moving a physical camera if the physical camera is currently being output live. (I call this "PTZ Shot Protection")
Details: I use VMix to stream our church services. I have 3 PTZOptics cameras and have created many virtual inputs with PTZ coordinates to automatically move the cameras to a specific shot on the stage. This feature is fantastic and makes it appear as though I have dozens of cameras! This works great except when I accidentally select a virtual input that uses the same physical camera as the live output. When this happens, the live camera rapidly whips to the new selected shot, which is not a pleasant viewing experience. While I try to avoid this, with so many different virtual shots and angles I get lost as to which physical camera is going to the live output. I've seen others comment on this issue also.
Implementation Suggestion: To help with this, I would like to see a "PTZ Shot Protection" checkbox on each virtual input. When checked, vMix would check to see if the virtual input being selected uses the same physical camera that is currently on the live output. If it does, then vMix would disregard the virtual input selection and display a red outline around the virtual input (letting the operator know that they selected a shot that would affect the camera being used for live output).

Just was searching for the same thing for the same reason. Would love to see it implemented!

Bumping this request as I have not seen any response from PTZOptics in over a year. It would be interesting to know if this is being considered for the development roadmap. It would seem to be a very easy capability to put in place.

big plus 1, also a way of saving a still image in the input monitor so you can tell easily which preset you need

This would be fantastic. I saw the scripts in another post; I'll give that a try, but I would love a global setting for this. It is all too easy to get confused when you have a bunch of virtual PTZ inputs.
