I've been sent a many images from some new hosts and they're not 1920x1080 and it's becoming a right pain placing a background image behind them.

Multiview doesn't work unless I want endless inputs which in my view is just so silly. Please Tim/Martin and Co once you've gone through all the hundreds of other great ideas which have been placed in this forum please consider this one (and my idea for the new title editor - so needed, the current one is so old and outdated).

I see so many great ideas for vMix, and hardly any of them are being placed!

1 . Just create a blank input and select the color of your choice or use an image input as a background.
2 . Put all your images in a folder and use the Photos input
3 . Use this photos input as an overlay in the #1 input.
Now you have a multiview with hundreds of photos correctly positionned on top of the background of your choice at the right resolution and you can use it anywhere.

OR

simply use an image editor like Irfan View which can batch process thousands of images at once with your settings (crops, resize and so on)

Another possible option is to use my free ZEN NDI Drag-&-Drop Image Viewer to play the images into vMix as an NDI source. Using the "Contain" option to scale the image with borders (when the aspect ratio doesn't match), you can chose what will appear in those background borders - either some built-in graduated fills or a grabbed image. There's also the option of a cross-fade when a new image is loaded.
There's a video on Facebook in the ZEN NDI Software group showing it in action.
