Hello,
I was wondering if there are any plans to implement replays in vMix? This would be very helpful for different sports events - basketball, football and would also give more functionality in other cases. As an option - this could be done using the "Record" functionality, when the video is being recorded to HDD, therefore is actually available. Perhaps with the use of "replay" type of source, the video could be "replayed" for last x seconds when necessary.
Please let me know if there are plans to implement this or a similar feature, Dundurs

What resolution and duration would be required?
If 640x480 for up to 60 seconds is suitable then it could be stored in memory (1GB spare required).

PAL SD (720 x 576) would be nice. Maximum duration of 40-30 seconds would be enough for most cases, but this is probably something that could be configured also taking into account the amount of RAM available. And 1GB is definitely not a problem these days.

Thanks,
A "Video Delay" feature will most likely appear in the next version with the following features:
* Selectable resolution. (For example you could select 320x240 to achieve maximum delay time at expense of resolution) * Selectable delay time up to 60 seconds. * Shows up as a normal input in vMix, so you can transition to the video delay as you would any other input and setup overlays etc (So you could add a "Instant Reply" title to the top of the video delay for example) * Scroll bar allows selecting a starting point from 1 to 60 seconds when playing back.
Let me know if any other features would be required.
Regards,
Martin vMix

Great news, Martin.
All sounds very good. Some other useful features to think about would include: - replay for a specific video source, not the general video output (however I understand that this would use up more memory, so it might be problematic). On the other hand, the time of up to 60 seconds could be divided between, for example, three camcorders. - slow motion replay (to see how the ball goes into net so to speak :) ) - I would also suggest to set a customizable RAM video capacity as I assume if it requires the same amount of programming. For example, in my case I have 8 GB of RAM available.
Looking forward for the next release of vMix, Dundurs

Martin, I am following the issues of forum and see their commitment to improving the "Vmix." Soon it will surpass its competitors. Working with various editing programs, eg Adobe, Pinnacle, Grass Valley. I see that most professionals as I sought a program that could replace a video and audio mixer for live streaming. And "Vmix" is very good and also transmits "video stream". Congratulations on your project. By the way, as suggested in another topic that had Vmix beyond a PiP effect divides the screen in half to show two video inputs.
Mauro.
