Malwarebytes delcared vmixvideotools.exe as malware (*False Positive*)

Hello
I recently installed Vmix onto my Windows7 system from a download on this site, and on a scan by Malwarebytes it declared vmixvideotools.exe was malware.
Is this usual? Is this a valid installation? Is Malwarebytes incorrect in identifying it as malware? Malwarebytes says this identification was the result of a generic check. Other websites have also identified other software components of Vmix as malware as well.
Obviously I would like to know what is going on. I currently have the exe in question in quarantine.
Does anybody have any info on this?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
This is a definite false positive, you should report this to Malwarebytes as a customer to resolve it in the next definition update.

Thank you for your reply.
I will inform Malwarebytes. I am surprised that there is so little text on the subject on the internet, as I can't be the only one to have found this....... or can I?
