I have two vmix computers running.

I use one (vmix1) to cut cameras, gfx and audio, the other (vmix2) to handle video broll and records.

I would like to cut from a camera on vmix 1, to the NDI input (vmix2output) and have it auto-roll. This would be the same as if you cut the avi video from preview to program and how it rolls automatically.

I was playing around with triggers but couldn't get it going.

Has anyone done something similar? Thoughts?

Any help would be great!

Haven't done this, but I think you could try to trigger a script on vmix1, using the HTTP Web API of vmix2 to play the video on vmix2.

https://www.vmix.com/help23/DeveloperAPI.html

An example for the use of HTTP Web API in a script:

You've got to use the ip address of vmix2 instead of localhost.
