I realize this is not likely to happen, but here goes--

I work with a group that has 20-30 broadcasting students -- we use vmix for all of our productions -- but there is no easy way to train the students---- We need a version that allows for full functionality so groups of 15-20 can train at one time in a lab situation -- the basic version is not enough -- perhaps a version with ndi out disabled and output limited top 320x240.... Just so we can learn the interface and all the features without having to buy 15-20 individual licenses.

I could add even disable external out,
but it would be VERY valuable that students could learn the power of things like scripting and instant replay, but never be able to air it.

Especially since we are doing ALL of our shortcuts with scripting now. :-)

my 2 cents,
Steve

to add that a "show designer" could build and test scripts and functionality on a non-broadcast system. Much like Ross Xpression has a "designer" package for pretty cheap.

Hello,
Is there an educational pricing for groups of students? We have 6 groups doing similar projects. They are working on school streaming profiles (interviewing Media Arts High School teachers). Each group has 4 students enrolled in the process doing different tasks.

I don't need this, but a simple way to create such a version would be to add watermarking to all outputs. This would make in unusable for "real" use, but allow students to learn how to use the system.

That said, will most courses exceed the 60 day trial period?

Watermark would be a good solution!
