Lower Thirds as NDI output from secondary vMix to main production

I have two computer set up to run vMix in our Middle School TV studio. The main computer runs vMix HD the secondary runs vMix Basic HD. I want the secondary computer to control all lower thirds so it is less work for the students running the main system. I set up titles on the secondary computer and added them as an input on the main computer via NDI. The problem is that when the titles move over to the main computer, they lose the transparency. So if the NDI input is set as an overlay on the main computer, we just see the title at the bottom and then rest of the screen is black. Any ideas?

You need to activate ARGB mode for vMix to support alpha transparency with NDI.
However your workflow is not the best one imho. Why don't you simply use vMix WebController to handle titles?
You could also use vMix UTC as an alternative.

Ok, yes a new workflow would also be an option. I thought of the web control. I may have to check that out.
Are there any downsides to ARGB mode?

Hello, I'm a high school teacher and we have a broadcast studio run by a couple of students. Is there a chance to get the pattern of transparent 'squares' in the ARGB mode? I've seen a feature request posted somewhere on the forum too. PTZOptics tutorials for high schools and curriculum for the mentors to hireessaywriter on video/audio editing topics
