I often use video clips in a multiview layout, together with live camera inputs. In this case, the time remaining in the video clip it's not displayed in the Output, and in the Preview one usually keeps the input ready for the next cut. So you basically must guess when you have to transition out from the video.

I would find quite useful if the remaining time in the video could be displayed in the title bar of that video / list input in the input area of vMix. That's exactly what happens in the Fullscreen multiview, but in many situations we don't have the chance to use a dedicated monitor with the multiview (working outside with limited space, etc.)

What do you think? I guess it will be quite easy to implement.

Thank you, that's very interesting. However, as it is, it doesn't work in my scenario. The code works perfectly when a video is fullscreen, but not when it's in a DVE.

I guess the code has to be changed in order to look only into a specific input, or more than one specific inputs (a couple of List-type inputs).

As expected, tweaking the code and forcing it to look to a specific input number, it works.

This is how it looks like (I have my 2 list-type inputs called "RED" and "BLUE", hence the colors).

Thank you.

Your welcome that the code was off use to you. ;)

I often have only 1 media playing. And when we use a multiview layout the video is always running in the Preview window. I tweaked the code a bit on my machine to check if PGM has a valid countdown running. If not it uses the Preview as data source.
