Is it possible to implement PTZ camera control by clicking on the program output and preview screen?
Speed from 0 (white) to maximum (red)

Few questions:

- Why not use a controller ?
- if like in your image to know where one to click how will you observe t your previews and output ?

but to answer your question if it s possible :

Yes, can easily DIY something like that with autohotkey (making your click in a preview or output window respond to the mouse position within said window and trigger availablr shortcut functions accordingly)

I have a hardware controller and I use it successfully.
But such functionality will allow the director to make minor adjustments online.

I also did not talk about the exact positioning of the camera at the point of click. I mean controlling the camera like a joystick would. When pressed and held in the center of the screen, no commands are sent to the camera. But when shifted from the center, the camera receives a signal to move in a given direction at a speed depending on the distance of the mouse pointer from the center of the screen. Release the mouse button to stop the movement.

I use google translation. I hope the idea is clear.
Thank!.

The first screenshot shows the areas for clicking the mouse. They are invisible and are placed on top of the real image.

ok,

if you don't want to use :

screenptz.JPG (30kb) downloaded 0 time(s).

The AutoHotkey can do the trick where it checks where your mouse pointer is at and which button is clicked and do some position calculations to be used in shortcuts send to vMix
