Is there a way to change the look and feel of the webcontroller generated web page and icons etc ?
I will have a presenter that will connect remotely (through a DDNS server) to the web controller. I have setup shortcuts for the PowerPoint slide change, and only display the "Next" and "Previous" button for them to see.
But I would like to customize them, give the buttons a color, labels etc
Is that possible ? Some CSS stylesheet tweaks ? Anything like that ?
I know about the Vmix Panel Builder , but one needs to download software or app to use it ... I need to keep it as simple as possible for the guests
Thanks !
-L

Hi LucaL There is a tick box to "Show in Controller" for each Shortcut you create. (it is ticked by default) Simply un-tic whatever shortcuts you don't want to show up in the web controller. https://www.vmix.com/help23/WebController.htmlvMix Greg

I know I can only tick what I want to see in the webcontroller. I am just wondering if there is a way to change the look and feel of the Shortcut buttons for my guess? And maybe hide the menus they wont need so that is it as straight forward as possible for them when they connect. -L

I would look at the streamdeck if you want to keep your hair. They also make a "virtual" version that you can run on an iPad/phone.

So for the moment I have uploaded a custom PNG that i did in Photoshop (instead of the default) . They are simple buttons for "Next" and one for "Previous" example03.png (19kb) downloaded 3 time(s).It will work for now, but I would really nice be able to design a custom layout with a CSS/html page builder and assign the relevant shortcut code to the different placeholders. I do have a streamdeck here and use it a lot. I could check the virtual one, but can a remote guess connect with a simple URL? Without the need to download a phone app? -L

Now I'm preparing a presentation and looking for any templates that can help with this. On this source, https://masterbundles.com/star-wars-powerpoint-templates/ I found original and unusual templates. It gave me a lot of ideas and inspiration for my work.

The best solution here is to put the PowerPoint on another machine and bring into vmix using NDI screen share. Then you can use tools like InternetClicker.com which are far superior. Internet Clicker gives you nice large graphical buttons and the end user can see the slides on their clicking device. Even if it's their phone screen. Nothing to download for the end user. All the need is the URL and a code you supply.
