I probably missed it, but I couldn't find a feature request that matched this one specifically. Help! This is just unmanageable. Is it possible to make the vMix Audio Mixer LOOK more like a mixer? lots of audio inputs.PNG (323kb) downloaded 6 time(s).- Tom

I"ll second, third, 100th this. Vmix could take a lesson from the X32 app called "Mixing Station". Also, stuff like compression and gates need major tweaking so they function like real compression with knee and attack and release.
Also, talkback needs to be separate from the audio bus system...and permanent so the talkbacks don't move around with inputs... please...please of please make this function like it does on the X32... it's sooooooo easy to assign and use.

There is an option I was looking at to create a VST Plugin for this using RackAFX and Aspik. Downloaded RackAFX 7.0 and Aspik but haven't had a chance to try it out. Actually waiting on RackAFX 8.0 to develop a VST Plugin. https://www.willpirkle.com/rackafx/http://www.aspikplugins.com/Originally Posted by: sinc747 I probably missed it, but I couldn't find a feature request that matched this one specifically. Hi, The X32 app for the iPad looks like this: https://is3-ssl.mzstatic....bkievlhz.png/643x0w.jpgThis has 8 faders on screen. The screenshot from vMix shows 39. So essentially I think users looking for changes should be more specific, as the current design in vMix is intentionally designed to allow as many mixers on screen as possible. Regards, Martin vMix

Here is a Mixing Station layout: https://www.gearslutz.co...ation-x32-32-channel.jpgIn this case, there is a fixed number of channels displayed on a fullscreen window. Obviously this wouldn't work in the docked mixer that many users currently use in vMix, so is this essentially what people want: a separate app for advanced audio mixing setups?

A separate application would be awesome. Especially if it had network support and could run on another computer. +1 for sure!

+ add better options for the audio channels in the new fullscreen interface, so that they're not only visible when right clicking

I would be excited about all of these features, especially to be able to use it on a separate machine, like you can with VMix Social and the controller features--either a computer or an ipad. It's hard to find the slide I'm looking for when there are multiple rows and I have to resize the window.

+1 for the gui request, i work also in professional audio and i'd love to have a gui that is similar to a real mixer.
another request that maybe shouldn't be here:
the possibility to manage audio from another PC (like Blackmagic Atem TV Studio for example)
It would be very useful if another person can manage the audio when I am in charge of the visual part

I personally find the vMix audio mixer satisfactory. I get on well with the functions. I like that too:" All mixers can be collapsed and restored by right clicking the Title of the mixer ". if you don't need these mixers at the moment.
My suggestion would be if the audio mixer could be integrated into the web controller so that the audio mixer could be operated on any device in the same network.

+1 for the layout (I'm a PC and Android user, no apples) +1 for more parameters of the audio compressor (pregain, attack, threshold, ratio, release, postgain)
