I would love a parameter setting somewhere, which changes the behavior of the audio 'automatic mixing' function on vmix.

At the moment, the only behavior is that automatic mixing effects whether the audio input is AUDIO ON or AUDIO OFF. I would like a setting to choose to effect the BUS routing instead.

Practical example.

I'm setting up some quite complicated audio routing to allow remote producers to 'solo' specific inputs, which delivers the required input into a Bus, which they listen to through their vmix call source. If however, the audio source is off air and AUDIO OFF, it will never be heard into the solo bus.

Thanks for any thoughts!

You can use triggers OnTransitionIn/Out with AudioBusOn/Off to reach the desired effect.

Nah, tried this and setting up triggers in that way is non-exhaustive. It's not a true audio follow video. Trust me, it's different from an AFV system!
