Would be great to be able to export the chat from the vMix social web page. YouTube live chat history doesn't always have everything. Based on my viewer's request, i try to grab all the questions from the chat that are prefixed with Q:. I also want to use that to feed into an FAQ area. Would be great if vMix Social had the ability to export the chat items displayed in the page. It's cached somewhere, just output it as a CSV or excel or even just a text file.

I saw that the log will show what got pushed, but doesn't show the actual entries. Just counts when a new entry is available.

IMO this what YT should be able to provide to you , not a vMix job
If YT can have a proper chat history .... why should vMix be able to do magic ;-)

I don't disagree with that - and would love for YouTube to provide that as well. But, vMix Social has it from a buffer perspective. Would also be nice if you are pulling in multiple source chats and be able to dump that out.

I'm not on my vMix computer right now, but I do remember going into the system folders and finding the vMix social folder which had logs. Read some comments from a year ago :)

Poke around in there and see what you can find.

Correct. The logs will only show what you sent out. It doesn't capture all of the chat that is displayed in the vmix social web page though. Just the ones that you send.
