Hello,

Next week we have an DJ-event. We will be using three camera's and vMix 4K.

The camera's will be in a fixed position, zooming and positioning will be done digital by vMix.

I want to control the camera's by using a midi keyboard.

As far as I know I can use two different ways to achieve this: virtual set with just one layer, the camera.
Or make for each position of a camera a multiview-input.

With the virtual-set approach I can switch camera's with the special camera settings for virtual sets. Works nice, it very easy to change the position, except rotation the camera doesn't work like I expect, not around the center of the image. (hard to explain in English, just try it :))
The other approach is fine too, it gives more flexibility.

I cane make shortcuts to switch between the camera's for both options.

But.... what I what is more control over the speed of fading/cutting. How do you do that?

It would be nice if there are shortcuts for the speed settings of the virtual set camera's. I can't find them...

I think it would be nice if I have al the camera position's on my midi keyboard and use 4 keys for the speed of fading/zooming between the camera's.

And i would be even better that after every time I've used a longer fade then 0s, it goes back to 0s, but that's probably done with triggers.

If you have a complete different solution, that's fine too, as long as I cane switch fast between camera's and can setup speed without using keyboard/mouse.

Is it for example possible to change the duration of the quick play option?

There must be a simple solution :)

Please, help me... I've tried many things already...

I hope that I'm clear about what I like to do...

Is there another way to get support?

If it's not possible then I like to know that too...

AFAIK, there is no easy way to quickly adjust transition speeds "on the fly" with Shortcuts.
(maybe a Feature Request is in order)
I would suggest that using the T-Bar with a "fader" control will probably give you the most variable control from Preview to Program Output, that won't help with virtual sets or MultiView zooms but should work for Virtual copy Inputs.

I'm not sure if I fully understand what you want to achieve, so just a quick question: Do you know, that you can set up shortcuts with different transition times? So, e.g., four fade transition shortcuts with 500 ms, 1000 ms, 1500 ms, 2000 ms. Don't know if that fits into your workflow. With the position shortcuts on your midi keyboard you would have to put your cameras on preview first, though.
