Genuinely cannot thank the people at vMix enough. After stalking the program for a bit, I pulled the trigger just as GT came out... and WOW. This has been received very well by the industry here in the states! Thanks for giving me the software that helps me look like a rock star! https://www.facebook.com.../videos/387636021886552/

@ Shawntempesta
WOW, you are a rock star! Can you share more details about your set-up, workflow and the learning curve that took you to where you are now with vMix? Awesome show, very professional.

I am interested too in knowing more. How for instance do you get that ticker to display different topics? Are you controlling it manually?

Hey everyone! Sorry for the delay! And thank you!
IceStream: Got an i7 5960x with 64GB of Ram (originally an editing computer) with 4 PTZOptics NDI cameras and an AKAI APC Mini switching. Have a Stream Deck to fly in the lesser-used elements.
I got in at the perfect time. I was ready to do a deep dive into XAML, then the beta for 22 came out with GT, and I picked that up immediately. The learning curve is still tough, hundreds of hours to figure out how triggers and activators and overlay layers interact with one another, etc. But now I'm pretty dialed in on it. Thanks again!
Ringside: GT, made a ticker with two elements fed by an excel spreadsheet that automatically moves from story to story. DataChangeIn/Out with both. If the topic (to the left) doesn't change, it'll stay static, while the body of the ticker (to the right) goes to the next line. Very clean, ESPN like... love GT.

Hi Shawn, I really love the setup of the show. FYI I spent the entire weekend and recreated some of the layouts using GT Designer for my tech show. Really appreciate you sharing. I feel more confident now with my new layout. Guys check it out and let me know what you think https://www.facebook.com/techthursday242/

Hey Mashy!
Just seeing this - I did! I produce TV commercials for radio stations for a side hustle, so I can work my way around After Effects a bit.
