It appears that a vmix call is not Stereo, Basically if I use an Audio interface on a remote call, It sums the two audio channels down to 1 Channel of audio. Then on the Vmix side, Even if I make the Vmix Call as two separate audio Channels, it's still a mono call.

I have even tried a vmix call to and from 2 separate Vmix's as one is Hosting a call, and the other is Connecting to a call.

Hi Sandy,

vMix to vMix calls will always be stereo, I just double checked this now to confirm.
(Ran a test with a music file and panned left to right)

However due to echo cancellation feature on browsers, they tend to combine the stereo channels to assist with this
though I have noticed FireFox seems to send stereo on some setups.

There have also been some additional audio quality improvements in 23.0.0.51 so make sure vMix is up to date if you have not done so already.

Regards,

Martin

Yea we have tried the same, Basically try to have mic on Channel 1 (Left) and Music on Channel 2 (Right)... Then on the Vmix i have the audio channels split to 2 Separate audio tracks, but they both are summed together. You can even see it in the audio meters.

I want to be able on the mix the audio on the receive side as two separate audio tracks, Ch 1 as Mic, and Channel 2 as music.

I am not using any Internet Browser, just vmix to Vmix. And Yes Running 23.0.0.51

Using the "Separate Mono" on an input converts it to mono, so disable that setting and use the Channel Matrix instead.
