Hey guys,

I am using the 64bit-version of vmix and I just tried to add a mov-videofile with transparency. I ticked the box 'video contains alpha channels' and then got the error message 'this feature does not support 64bit'.
Is this a bug or is it just not possible to get mov running on vmix 64bit?

My workaround now is to split the file into single frames and import them via the sequence-loader.

Thankful for any answers though.

I'm curious about this too.

I tried taking a video with my iPod at an event and importing into vMix and got the same error.

My solution was to convert it to a different format. I can't quite remember what we converted to. MP4 maybe? Of course now that I'm typing this, I'm wondering if it was the other way around.

Either way, I've seen the error myself.

Thanks Martin. Didn't know about this.

As I was experimenting I just stumbled over this (a bug?):
I was able to drag&drop a mov-file (no transparency; quicktime codec) to my inputs and it played smoothly. I saved my preset and later wanted to reload it but then got the error message "The following inputs could not be loaded: Video: This feature does not support 64bit." although it was no problem to drag and drop it to the timeline 2 minutes ago. That is kind of weird. All within the vmix64.exe of course ;-)
