I've found that devices running iOS 13.3+ are having a hard time connecting. It comes up with a warning about UDP being blocked by the firewall. If you push ok on that warning a few times it'll usually connect. But not always

Yes, I have. It's the weirdest thing.
I know that the warning is incorrect because other devices work fine. Any android, pc, or mac works perfectly. Even iOS 13.1 devices work fine. It's just iOS 13.3 or higher that cause this issue.
I even tried it on an iPad pro running iOS 13.1 and it worked perfectly. Updated to 13.4 and it gave that warning... Same iPad, same vMix file. 30 minutes apart. Didn't even close vMix in between trys

Hi,
Just tested vMix 23.0.0.46 with the latest iOS 13.4 and and can confirm it is connecting successfully.
If you are on .39 or earlier of vMix be sure to update as there have been new encryption protocols added that Safari may now require.
Regards,

we are making many many calls in these days. any IOS with SAFARI works without problems on all our machines, our callers have often the browser messagebox with the firewall warning, but after clicking this warning away, often 2 ore more times, we have a good connection.
Stay at home and stay healthy p.

Glad I'm not the only one having this issue! Exactly the same as @Peter1000 it usually works after you click it away a few times. As a side note, one of my testers told me he tried and got the same result with chrome on iOS as well.
Yes I've been on .46 during all of this :/

Please note only Safari will work in iOS.
Chrome does not support WebRTC and therefore vMix Call on any iOS devices, same applies to all other browsers on iOS including FireFox.

OH ok, I didn't know that. Thanks for pointing that out!
Notwithstanding, the error was still definitely occurring in safari.
Not a huge deal, cause after clicking on the error enough times it will eventually work. But still worth noting :)

We have just made an improvement to our servers to hopefully allow iOS 13 devices to connect more consistently.
Apologies for this, please try again now if you are seeing issues, no update is needed for vMix if it is already 23.0.0.46
