Hello all!

New Username as I couldnt find my old one!

Ive tried searching but cant find the answer.

Basically my Pastor will be traveling to another church to preach. We're taking precautions with the pandemic and instead of having large groups together we are trying to remotely stream everything.

The church he is going to will be setting up a stream for their website and I want to be able to take a clean feed from their stream (no titles, graphics, etc) and use it as an input in my vMix so that we can stream to our sites and use our own titles.

Whats the easiest/best way to do this?

Any and all help appreciated!

you need to broadcast to something to replicate/duplicate your RTMP stream and then create an RTMP Pull link to add as an input in vmix via Stream/SRT.

castr.io is pretty reasonable and makes it pretty easy to do.

Is this something that can only be done with a special paid program?

I was hoping that if I, living in Florida, streamed through vMix and setup up a special link + key that someone, living in California, could pick up on their vMix and stream as well.

Not possible?

If you want to send a stream from your vMix in Florida to someone using vMix in California, you might want to look at using the SRT protocol (introduced in vMix 23) to set up the link. vMix can both send and receive SRT, with no other program required.
