Dear developers,

we´ve been using vMix for church purposes ever since. It fits our needs in every aspect.
Now we are at the point, where we would need one more feature. Maybe someone else also requested this.
Description:
A feature that could read and show chapter markers (CM) in a video file, especially .m4v files. The feature would somehow show the list of all the CM´s and would allow to navigate through the video using the CM´s.
This feature would simplify our process of streaming video content.

Thank you for your hard work!

Would be nice ip chapter marks could also be embedded in recording data for quick editing with programs like videoredo.

Would like to see if this was already a feature? This would be great.

While maybe not immediately the request answer looking for but there is a little potential workaround to at least get the marker positions

The recording log file can have timestamps added to it using the WriteDurationToRecordingLog function including a description and extracted from there.
One can quickly see these for example by loading that file as a csv datasource

With a little script one might be able to read these and jump to that location if used within vMix (SetPosition function) for example
