vMix Social and vMix "NOT RUNNING"

I'm trying to implement vMix social. When I pull up the vMix Social app I get the dreaded "vMix NOT RUNNING" red warning indicator. vMix is in fact running and the web controller is enabled in the settings. I can access the web controller (192.168.1.6:8088) from another computer on the network. I can even access vMix Social on port 8089...but launching vMix Social inside of vMix tells me vMIX IS NOT RUNNING.
Everything else has been flawless.
Any suggestions?

I got an answer in the facebook forum that solved my problem. For anyone encountering the same issue: "I had this problem. Something is using port 8088. For me it was Edge. You can run TCPView to see what applications are using which ports to help you identify it: https://docs.microsoft.c...ter.../downloads/tcpview
After that, if you can disable or remote the program, that should allow vMix Social to start working"
